Why Foster Village?
Imagine a village where people live and work together in harmony, share their happy and sad moments. Share their mealtime and enjoy all of the celebration together in the village.
Children running and playing with friends in a car free village .Imagine foster children feel and call this their home or second rebirth. Staying at us, being surrounded by other children of similar destiny, they will easier overcome the undesired effects from caused health and mental traumas. Understand the value of contact with other fostered children, where all will be encourage to reach their full potential.
A very good example of a successful project:
A typical foster village house will include two experienced householders, their Children and foster children. Everyone has personal space but also enjoys sharing their mealtime at the dining room where they can meet other members from the co-operative, joining to different clubs or activities organised in or outside of the village.
In the village, cars will be shared. In fact, we will mostly work within the village, therefore cars won’t be used as often. Furthermore, that will benefit towards reducing the pollution!
Shared life, benefits to live in better, safer environment. In the village children from wider community or nearby schools can join to open classes in our garden and learn new skills ,developing good working relationships and access to training opportunities .We want to help younger generation be more active and have better physical ,mental and emotional wellbeing. Our initiative will encourage shifts in behaviour and culture away from consumerism towards more sustainable ways of living and using resources.
A very good example of a successful project:
Depending on their age group, children will live in the most favorable environment where conditions will change and form their personality, education and the right understanding on the things in life. The attention and care for them will be at an exceptionally high level and of the respective quality, entitling them to be in direct contact with and near the nature.
The idea of an ”Open classroom” will enable anyone to understand how, caring for nature, it may care for them, producing their own food and anything yielded within the village from vegetables, fruit and animal products.
This activity will be organized with local schools and nurseries in partnership for the creation of open classrooms for this purpose. The village may be inhabited by young single mothers with children, where they will be trained and provided complete guidelines on how to best cope with the raising and care of their children, both in the conditions of communal and in urban lifestyle.
