Kibbutz Foster Village is a Community Interest Company, which means we are not doing this for profit, but for the people and foster children. We want to build a community where we can grow our own food, food for the Neibourhood, primary and secondary schools in the area using permaculture design and ethics. But most important we would like to teach future generation how to live and work collectively and in harmony
We are motivated by our visits and volunteering in the Kibbutzim of Israel. Throughout the years, we studied various communities and some of them we visited – Methernitha, Switzerland, the utopic settlement of Marinaleda- Spain, the Bruderhof communities-UK, Camphill Village Trust – the UK, Botton Village, and Delrow House, Pericles as a volunteer, as well as supervisors for two years in one of the houses of Ruskin Mill Trust.
